Henry Morrison Flagler Museum · Palm Beach, Florida · Winter Wedding

Rain on a wedding day has a way of making everything feel more cinematic — the light softer, the colors richer, the sense of shelter and togetherness more pronounced. Brooke and Garrett’s winter celebration at the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum in Palm Beach leaned into it completely. Between the grandeur of the West Room ceremony and the warmth of the Pavilion reception, the day unfolded with a quiet, unhurried confidence that felt entirely their own. These two were simply ready for each other, for the evening ahead, for all of it — and that ease made every image feel effortless.

GETTING READY

An intentional morning with Brianna Michele Artistry, grounded and unhurried

The morning was calm in the way that only happens when a couple has chosen the right team around them. Brianna Michele Artistry had Brooke looking polished and completely herself — glowing in a way that reads naturally in photographs rather than performatively. Bless the Dress handled the bridal concierge details with the kind of quiet precision that lets a bride focus entirely on the moment rather than the logistics.

There was a stillness to the preparation that set the tone for the whole day — no rushing, no chaos, just a gradual build of anticipation. By the time the dress was on and the florals from Anthology Co were in hand, the room had shifted into something expectant and beautiful.

CEREMONY

An intimate exchange of vows in the historic West Room at Whitehall

The West Room at the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum is one of Palm Beach’s most extraordinary ceremony spaces — gilded, layered, and steeped in over a century of history. For a winter wedding, it was exactly right: warm and enveloping, with an intimacy that a larger ballroom could never quite replicate. Anthology Co’s florals complemented the room’s existing grandeur rather than competing with it, adding soft organic texture against all that gold and marble.

La Valse Events had the ceremony running with the kind of seamless timing that only experienced planners achieve — guests settled, the music shifted, and the room seemed to hold its breath. Brooke walked in and the West Room did what it always does: it made the moment feel historic. Erick David Film was positioned quietly throughout, capturing the ceremony from every angle without ever pulling the focus from what mattered.

PORTRAITS

Couple portraits through the historic halls and grounds of the Flagler Museum

The Flagler Museum offers portrait locations that few Palm Beach venues can match — layered architectural details, sweeping formal gardens, grand colonnades, and that unmistakable sense of stepping into another era entirely. Even with rain threading through the afternoon, the light had a softness to it that made every frame feel considered.

Brooke and Garrett moved through the museum with total ease. They were playful and present with each other, which is everything — the architecture does its work, but it’s the couple that makes a portrait. Oceanside Limo made the logistics of moving between locations seamless, keeping the day’s rhythm intact. These were the portraits I kept going back to review on the back of my camera, quietly satisfied.

RECEPTION & DANCING

A luminous Pavilion reception — Anthology Co florals, cold sparks, and a night that didn’t want to end

When the Flagler Museum Pavilion is done well, it’s one of the most captivating reception spaces in all of South Florida — and Anthology Co did it beautifully. The florals were romantic and abundant without overpowering the architecture, and Atlas Event Rental brought in elements that felt cohesive and considered at every table. Chez Gourmet catered the evening with the kind of quality that keeps guests at the table long after the toasts are finished.

DJ Lajon Ent read the room perfectly — the transition from dinner to dancing was effortless, and once it started, it didn’t stop. The cold sparks exit by Sparktacular Lou was the punctuation the evening deserved: bright, celebratory, and completely memorable against the Palm Beach night sky. Palm Beach Livery had everything in order for their send-off. It was one of those receptions where the vendors all feel like collaborators, each one adding something essential to the whole.

Documenting Brooke and Garrett’s wedding at the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum was a privilege I won’t forget — the history of the venue, the warmth of the couple, and the quiet beauty of a rainy Palm Beach evening all together in one day. If you’re planning a wedding at the Flagler Museum and are looking for a Palm Beach wedding photographer — or dreaming of a destination celebration anywhere in the world — I’d love to hear from you.
