There are weddings you photograph, and then there are weddings that photograph you back — where the couple’s energy fills every frame before you’ve even thought about composition. This spring celebration at the Flagler Museum in Palm Beach was exactly that.

The palette was lush and unapologetic: deep pink blooms and rich greenery that transformed the Pavilion into something between a garden and a greenhouse, intimate and layered and completely alive. And at the center of it all, a couple so genuinely themselves that every single image felt effortless.

GETTING READY

A joyful morning at the Hilton West Palm Beach, full of anticipation and laughter

The morning unfolded at the Hilton West Palm Beach with the kind of easy, unhurried energy that sets the tone for an entire day. The bridal suite was filled with laughter — the real kind, not the posed kind — and the florals from Ovando World were already making their presence known, their signature pink-and-green palette threading through every detail from the bouquets to the table arrangements waiting across town.

Kiss This Makeup had the bride glowing in a way that felt both polished and completely natural. What struck me most was how relaxed everyone was — the kind of calm that comes not from suppressing nerves, but from genuinely being ready. By the time the dress went on, the room had shifted into something quieter, more reverent. One of those mornings I never want to stop photographing.

PORTRAITS

Couple portraits at one of Palm Beach’s most iconic landmarks

Portraits at the Flagler Museum offer something most Palm Beach venues can’t quite match — the collision of grandeur and intimacy. The architecture frames a couple in a way that feels cinematic without trying, and when the light softens in the late afternoon, every surface glows.

This couple made portrait time feel like the best part of their day — they were playful with each other, present, unhurried. The bride’s gown by Miraz Willinger moved beautifully against the stone and garden backdrop, and the groom’s Suit Supply look was sharp and relaxed in equal measure. Pineapple Films was right there alongside us capturing it all on video — the kind of creative partnership that makes a wedding day flow without friction.

The ceremony itself was warm and unhurried. Fabuluxe Events had the timing perfectly calibrated — not a single moment felt rushed. Transportation by Molly’s Trolleys added a playful, celebratory note to the arrivals, and the printed materials from HM Designs and menu calligraphy by Fancy Chick Calligraphy carried the palette through every paper detail. It’s the small things that make a Flagler Museum Palm Beach wedding feel truly considered.

RECEPTION DESIGN

Ovando World transforms the Flagler Museum Pavilion into a lush, intimate garden

The Flagler Museum Pavilion is one of Palm Beach’s most singular ceremony spaces — historic and grand, yet intimate when it’s done right. Ovando World did it right. The floral installation was bold without being overwhelming: cascading arrangements in deep pink and verdant green that softened the architecture and brought the space down to a human scale. Guests walked in and audibly exhaled.

RECEPTION & DANCING

An evening of celebration, florals, and dancing that no one wanted to end

By the time guests took their seats for dinner, the Pavilion had transformed again — candlelight layering over Ovando World’s florals, the long tables set with arrangements that spilled generously across the linen. By Constellation FL handled catering with the kind of precision that lets guests focus entirely on the people around them, and Event Effects kept the bars flowing effortlessly throughout the evening.

Then the music started. This couple came to dance, and their guests were right behind them. The energy from earlier in the day — that contagious joy, that ease — came rushing back onto the floor and didn’t leave until the night was over. Atlas Event Rental and Elements and Accents had every detail of the space considered. It was one of those receptions where I kept shooting long after I needed to, because I didn’t want it to be over.

Documenting this Flagler Museum wedding in Palm Beach was an absolute privilege — the florals, the venue, and above all, the couple made it one of those days that stays with you. If you’re planning a wedding at the Flagler Museum or anywhere in Palm Beach and are looking for a wedding photographer — or dreaming of a destination celebration beyond Florida — I’d love to connect and hear your vision.
